About Baby Name Journeys

There are currently two main ways for you to explore baby names on this site. The first is to browse baby names alphabetically. The second is the name journey method that is featured on every individual baby name page.

There are three options in the baby name journey. You can click to see another baby boy name, another baby girl name, or another neutral name. Note: A neutral name is just a baby name that is commonly given to both genders.

Anyway, you can think of these three options like three individual decks of flashcards. For example if you are having a journey through the baby boy names then it is analogous to picking a boy name flashcard off the top of the deck, looking at it, putting it on the bottom of the deck, and then grabbing the next card. You can essentially keep clicking along the boy name journey and never reach a duplicate name until you have clicked through all 2000+ boy names. The same is true for the girl names and the neutral names. However, hopping from deck to deck is like a random cut of the cards that preserves the overall order of the cards.
